Gwyn Hafan is superbly located on South Beach, Aberystwyth and is just 4-5 minutes walk from the town centre. South Beach, although very popular is very much quieter than the main promenade on the other side of the Castle. Yet is close to diverse pubs, restaurants, cinema, shops and station are all within easy walking distance. Getting thereBy Car Aberystwyth is on the main A44 and A487 roads. Directions from A44 Llangurig Follow A44 for approx. Miles past Ponterwyd, Goginan and Capel Bangor until you come to 2 mini roundabouts at Llanbadarn. Continue straight on (road bears to the left). Cross over two sets of railway tracks and continue to the roundabout where you will see Morrisons and McDonalds. Take the 3rd exit into the town. Continue past Kwik Fit on the left and Somerfield on the right until you come to another roundabout. Turn left here into Mill Street and continue to the T-junction where you will see Rummers Wine Bar in front of you. Turn right and then immediately left into South Road. Continue along South Road to the seafront and then turn left into South Marine Terrace. Gwyn Hafan is painted yellow and is no. 13 in the terrace of Victorian houses on your left, facing the seafront. There is free parking on either side of the road here, although a few spaces on the seafront side are designated for disabled and further on, past the terrace, the spaces are pay and display.
